I apologize for the lack of updates. I will be continuing the stories. I was merely struggling with my depression and the comments about my inclusion of Mikael and the way I wrote his and Maddies relationship.
I wish to make it clear, what Maddie felt for him was a crush. Just like any other child when they see a tv character or someone they think is cool. As for what Mikael felt, he only felt the need to protect her and make her happy. Romantic feelings between Mates(at least the way I am writing it) do not feel the romantic nature of their bond until both parties have passed the age of 15. There will be nothing beyond kisses(that Maddie will initiate) between her and Mikael, Finn, Elijah, and Klaus, until she is of age. Kol and Rebekah are physically teenagers so I might choose to have them experience a bit more with each other.
