          Hello!
I'd love to explain more about homeschooling. I have not experienced what it's like to work in a classroom with other students and teachers. I currently am involved in a cyber school, so all of my classes are online. It's kind of like a big Skype call involving the students and teachers. We log in, attend our "Skype calls" and then we do our homework, which is almost all online. I used to be taught by my mom, as well. The school district would send her a schedule and all of the materials that we would need for the semester and she would be in charge of teaching us, testing us, and sending our progress to the school so they knew we were learning everything we needed.

I've liked the homeschooling side of things a lot throughout the years. When I was younger I always wanted to go to public school so I could make friends and see what all the fuss was about. It was only recently that I realized that I was actually pretty content with how my schooling played out. I was offered to attend public school a few times during the last couple of years, but I've turned the offer down.
I will say that I am missing a few experiences because of being home-schooled. I never had a lot of friends while I was growing up and it wasn't until I was about 12 or 13 that I had someone outside of my family to hang out with. In fact, 98% of my friends throughout my life have been online because I never got the chance to meet people who were my age in real life. It ended up giving me a difficult battle with social anxiety and a mild feeling of exclusion, but the older I get the easier it is for me to combat those things.
All-in-all, I'd say that I'm pretty happy with my experience. Even with the bumps and bends.

I think I should be the one saying sorry for a long text, holy cow! Lol, I'm happy you asked, actually. It's always a fun story to tell. Let me know if you want to know more, I'm always happy to answer questions. It hopefully won't be as long as this answer! :)
