ah,okay. and the movie never does. that's why I stand by the 'don't judge a book by it's movie' although,if its a good movie, I just teach myself not to expect the exact same things from the book as the movie. I watched the Harry Potter movies long before I read one of the books,but I still adore both. and I thought the Mortal Instruments movie was quite good.
