"I cringed at the memory and continued with some work until I heard little feet pattering down the hardwood stairs. I smiled and got up, heading out my office and grinning as my little girl attacked my legs. "Hey sweet pea" I greeted, lifting her up with one arm and giving her cheek a kiss.
"I want some" she pouted as she reached for my coffee cup.
"Alright, but only a little" I replied, bringing the cup to her lips and letting her take a sip. "How's my little girl this morning?" I asked as I carried her to the kitchen.
"Good" she grinned. "How are you daddy?"
"Wonderful now that my princess is awake, we have a busy day you know" I told her as I sat my coffee down and grabbed some sausage from the fridge and grabbed some pancake mix from the cabinet. "The room designers are coming this morning, we have to put all the furniture back in place in mommy's room, and we most definitely have to make a snowman today."
She agreed and I started cooking some pancakes for us. Camila came in looking gorgeous in her sweats and tank top, her hair messy, and no make up to hide that beautiful face of hers. "Good morning beautiful, do you want pancakes and sausage?" I asked and she nodded with smile, sitting beside Adeline at the kitchen island.
"Cameron will be over soon and we'll change everything in your room how you want it, the walls should be dry."
"Sounds good" she sleepily sighed and I reached over, tilting her chin up and softly smiling at her.
"Did you not sleep well?" I asked with a raised brow.
"Oh I did, I juust really didn't want to get up, but I've gotta check and see if Adeline's school is closed...."
"Already checked" I interrupted. "And it's closed."
