Sorry it took me forever on the new chapter. To be honest I had it abandoned. So I'll see if I can get the new one up next week.

Hi, Madison. I am delighted that you have added Songs for Tamar.

My story takes place within the rein of King David of Israel some three thousand years ago.

In this historical setting, I chose not to change important things in the original story. Absalom here is even more enigmatic however. He can be surprisingly kind as well as brutal.

That he loved his sister Tamar dearly is spelled out here.

I have added a love interest by the name of Jesse Ben Ezra and a few other characters.

In addition I have fairly well captured the culture of Israel during those time.

Here my writing style is unlike any other work of novel length, being heavily influenced by the English Bible of 1611.

          It's nice to meet you.

I really enjoy the story, as well as the historical elements of the story. The story of David has always interested me and I love how you've written it. :)

And it is nice to meet you as well.

Don't worry, I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth XD I'm actually starting a new story, a collaboration with my best Chilean friend, (more like my only Chilean friend XD) @ImQuiteTheThespian. I've never tried my hand at historical fiction, so hopefully it comes out okay.

Anyway, I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but the ideas just keep coming and going. I'm sorry :/

I hope you all enjoy the collaboration. :D
