I thought I meant more than comforting hand.  I lead you to places I couldn't comprehend. You're happy now and I thank my sins, but this world we're left with has cornered me in. 
          Goodnight my love each day that drags by this hurt gets worse but not in your eyes.

Which heartbeat of yours can I hear, because far too often this ends in tears.

You ripped me from my skin and threw me to the wolves.
          Did I fake myself? 
          Did I miss the clues?

Save my dignity and acknowledge me
          don't leave me worthless and unseen

I'm grateful,
          I'm grateful because I live in this universe where I lost you.
          So technically in another universes we must be living, experiencing life together.
          I'm so honored to take this life because I wouldn't wish this heartache on any other universe.

I miss the tunnels and pathways
          Escape, for a moment 
          didn't seem worlds away
