Maggie Seacroft graduated with a Honours Bachelor of Arts - in Philosophy....of all useful things, has a MBA, and worked for more years than she cares to mention as a CFO.  Putting the drudgery and corporate cannibalism behind her, she began to focus on more rewarding, creative pursuits such as the cozy mystery genre and combining it with her love of boats. Thus was born the Alex M. Mystery series. 
She likes a good cozy sprinkled with romantic tension and a smattering of Elvis references.
