I am a midnight writer of lyrics and poetry. I do set them to music using guitar and piano and am currently working on a concept album (I know) of spoken word and song which incorporates natural sounds and ambient touches. It's thematic and deeply romantic. I am also a teacher and a parent, a voracious reader and dilettante. I'm a little bit of an activist as well and am into 'rewilding' and nature connection. 
My bookshelf has always held spooky stuff, from the light-hearted  to the Gothic with a bit of forensic thrown in.
