Having this weird feeling rn where I'm writing oneshots and I strive to make it as in character as possible, but then I realise most people fell in love with the fanon version of the character more. So now I gotta rewrite the whole thing so that the character is actually lovable, but I gotta rewrite it again because it gets too out of character and the cycle continues until you start a whole new story.
