Hey, I know I've been inactive for quite a while and honestly, I have no idea when I can come back because Wattpad's just not good for me. I have some really great memories here, but it's also not something I can put time into without stress. I wish I could say otherwise, but nope. I'm also kind of falling away from writing for KotLC, which might change when the next book is released, but at the moment I'm in a whole load of different fandoms and the only fanfic I'm writing is for We Are The Tigers (a musical) and She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power (a TV series). I may delete this account, create a new one, and post some of that if anyone's interested (a KotLC She-Ra AU may be in the works) later on, but as for now, my break's going to last for another few months. I'll log on in a couple weeks - if we've talked a lot before and you have something urgent to say, PM me for my email or my tumblr (if you've changed your Wattpad username in the past few months, please include your last one so I know who you are!), but otherwise, I want to keep this site out of my headspace.

          Please share these, and please do what you can. If you are a minor or have no money, there are many youtube videos whose ad revenue donates directly to BlackLivesMatter organizations. If you are protesting, please stay safe, and do not film protesters (only film cops). And please check in on your Black friends, see how they're doing and what you can do. 
          
          
          Also: if I have ever said something wrong, misinformed, or insensitive, please let me know. Call me out, I want to hear what you have to say and how I can do better. I'm definitely not perfect and have a long way to go, but I want to improve and educate myself the best I can.

          I see you. I stand with you. I will never understand what you and so many people are going through right now, but I will always stand with you. Please tell me what I can do to help, how I can spread more change on my platform. 
          
          Dear white and non-Black POC friends and followers,
          Please, please do whatever you can to speak out, share your opinion, educate yourself. Send an email, sign a petition, ask your parents to make a donation. Support Black creators and artists, take a moment to be quiet, listen to voices of color, hear what they have to say, and then boost their voice by sharing their words and yours. 
          
          Racism is not "getting worse". It's just being recognized. For years, murders have gone unnoticed. Innocent people have gotten their lives cut short for no fucking reason, only because monsters in power think it's okay to kill a human being for the color of their skin. 
          
          Please, please, I beg you not to say "I don't see race" or "all lives matter". Of course all lives should matter, but Black lives are the lives who need to be recognized and saved right now. If you can't see race, you can't see racism. Recognize and support Black people. Until the world recognizes that Black lives do matter, none of us can live in peace. 
          
          Btw, this is not a "trend". This movement is not something that should be talked about for a week and never mentioned again. There is always progress to be made. We can't settle for performative allyship right now.
          
          I should be more active to say this, I should be speaking out more. I can't be online for long, but please, do what you can.

warning: multiple homophobes from another site have been planning to launch online attacks at LGBTQ+ people (especially minors) involving threats, violence, leaking of personal info, and other stuff. it's called "pridefall", and while it's most likely just fear-mongering and not actually happening, it very well could.

          when white people protest with weapons because they can't go out and get a haircut, nothing happens. when white cops murder people of color, they get fired. no prison sentence, just lies covering up what happened. when Black people live their lives peacefully, they die. this has to stop. 
          
          whenever or if you ever see this, remember George Floyd, right now, and any other Black person who was murdered. we're talking about human beings right now. race should not be a death sentence. Black Lives Matter.

my fanfics are all, for now, unpublished. I'm not in a fanfic mindset rn, I don't love my past work, and I'm also just not a big fan of the fandoms I used to write for. hope that's ok, and as always, hope y'all are doing well <3
