Reading and writing have always been my doorways into another world-a way to escape from everyday life and spend my time walking with wizards, flying with fairies and dealing with dragons. Over the years, real-life dragons became more pressing, and I chose to pursue opportunities that would help me deal with issues like paying the bills. However, those avenues led to a distinct lack of much-needed creativity in my life. Pursuing writing in my spare time is a way to get the magic back and sneak a peak through those enchanting doorways once again.

By day, I'm a finance professional. In my spare time, aside from reading and writing, I enjoy watching movies, playing the piano, and going to Zumba classes. My greatest loves are God, my husband, my family and friends, and last but certainly not least (or so they would say!) my two beautiful cats.
