I love TV and video games too.
Call me a kid, but I love Pokemon, and I want one.  The best part of the anime is the ships.
My OTP: Contestshipping! (May and Drew)  
It is just so cute. Roses and blushing! You can't get more obvious, at least not in Pokemon. It got me obsessed with roses, which is why I drew the rose that's my profile picture.
My other favorite: Pokeshipping! 
Yes, the original Ash ship. It was practically confirmed in the second movie that Misty liked Ash. Ash liking Misty is a lot more dubious, but I still believe it. 
Other ships I like:
-Rocketshipping(Jessie and James): The creators better make this come true soon. It's the only one with potential because Jessie and James are grown ups.
-Luckshipping(Brock and Lucy): I'm so happy for Brock. He found someone! And then Max had to grab his ear.
-I ship Dawn with Barry, Paul, Gary and Kenny. I also enjoy watching Conway bother her. (Yes, I know, he's a creep, and I feel bad for Dawn. But he is downright HILARIOUS!) I can't really pick a favorite because none of them have really solid evidence, as far as I've seen.

Most of my fanfictions were my daydreams for a long time before I finally got a wattpad account. Hopefully, I won't regret releasing them from my head.
I try to finish fanfictions. I hate leaving things unfinished.
