I wasn't even talking to you or the author in the story comment section. I was literally just interacting with the story characters itself. If you want to express your pov to me personally and tagged me; could have communicated like a normal person. But being the attention seeker you are need to start with (Don't be ridiculous) which doesn't even make any sense. Simply using phrases for the sake of it.

MagicQuillofaWitch

@haydydy Woah Ofcourse you weren't talking to anyone but what you said after that..does that make any sense?
You cannot comment in the comment section and ask for a private confrontation/discussion..
The comment section is essentially a place where readers and authors communicate..

            And about attention seeker...
Do u even know what that is?
I didn't seek you ur attention by commenting under your comment..
You expressed your POV on a public platform I did the same...
But coming to my feed and leaving such lengthy paragraphs(which I wouldn't have answered had I read this snarky comment earlier) IS attention seeking..
Why were you so eager to explain yourself?
Let's assume for a second that I actually seeked your attention..then why give it?
I mean Why would you give your attention to an attention seeker?
and for the record this called "using phrases for the sake of it"
Also..you were being ridiculous..because...you completely missed the point where the elder sister was displacing her grudge towards Kanika..
Kanika is no Saint..but the character you supported in your statement wasn't a saint either..
(Kanika being bad doesn't erase her sister being bad..both are bad...no more no less)
            I still stand by what I said..‍♀️

No matter how much siblings fight or get jealous, their love partner or husband has no rights to play with their sister's life. She is nicely playing wife and daughter in law's role in her rich in-law house thinking the world owes her. She betrayed her sister more than what her sister ever did to her. Her sister was just living her life. It's not a sin that her elder sister studies in a private school that her parents are paying for. That's literally how 95% of private school students study. It's not something to look down on others. Parents are supposed to afford their children's education.

Kanika and her husband act so self-righteous. Her husband has the audacity to sit in his wife's maternal house and talk badly about her cousin who slept before marriage. It's not a sin to sleep before marriage and it's literally nobody's business. He calls a woman who slept before marriage as a used product (that's not even a morally grey character; he is just a misogynistic guy). While this guy forcefully married a woman without her permission and without telling his wife's family. That's a sin. The only one who has the rights to talk is Kanika. Even then, she could have lashed out to her entire family and be right. But her sister was the full victim of ML and his grandfather's action.

MagicQuillofaWitch

@haydydy I agree about the betrayal but that was kind of expected you know..
Again I am not Justifying Kanika I am simply not expecting her to be the bigger person..

Her accepting her husband and family is irritating...I don't know how watty FMC's do it..but it's kind of a custom by now and I am not surprised anymore..

But as per the siblings bond..it wasn't an isolated incident...I think they personally never shared a sibling bond..
Their relationship is heavily influenced by how their father treated them differently...

What irked me was the lack of compassion...
An elder sister abandoning her baby sister without closure is beyond my comprehension..
That resentment is beyond my comprehension..
I hated her for that..and I still do..

Her husband part..I agree..I know...I called him out on the cheap words..even the author herself replied to my comment about this..

Throwing someone's sex life as a rebuttal is a below the belt move for me..
I mean to me it's no different than slut shaming..and you do it only when u don't have a comeback imo..

I hated the way he did it...but do I hate what he did? Not entirely..
Not because it wasn't cheap but because it was the way to shut Chacha up..
I mean "kudhke gireban me jhank ke dekho" is a thing...
He shouldn't have talked about killing Kanika and going to jail...
Is prestige more important than a human life? I don't think so...

I hated the way he did it..so no..The MMC is not self righteous..he is a morally grey character (which the author herself said) so I don't expect him to be a saint...
            Never did never will..

I'll come back after his redemption..If I remember this book that is

Don't be ridiculous? Maybe you should ask that to yourself or the character you are supporting for (Kanika). That girl is not even in marriage age. Her elder sister is already engaged and going to get married in a few months. Even the most loving siblings will have misunderstandings and fight if suddenly an elder sibling gets the news that their younger sister/brother got married few months before their own marriage.

Kanika is so ridiculous and so out of context to even say, her elder sister doesn't want her to get married. Her own husband and her in-laws don't have an ounce of respect for Kanika's maternal family. They have no respect for her own choice that they just marry her out of the blue when it's convenient for them. They just throw their money and take decisions in her maternal family issues without discussing with them. Would they keep quiet if Kanika's father suddenly held a press conference talking with ML sibling's in-laws. They just look down on Kanika's family and that fool (Kanika) is too dumb to even realize that. And Kanika has the audacity to say her sister is not grateful for her husband and in-law. Her sister would even be in a problem if it wasn't for her own husband's choice. If you want to talk about sisterhood or siblings code, Kanika should have slapped her husband and her grandfather in law for playing with her sister's marriage life.

@haydydy I don't support Kanika..Hell I stopped reading it because the character arcs were messing with my head..I will read it later..I don't have a stand right now..
            As per this particular incident..
Why does it matter? I mean the timing...
Her marriage and her sister's marriage are two separate incidents right? It's not like her marriage is at stake because of her younger sister?
And if it DOES matter...then tell me...who is the elder person? Who is supposed to show wisdom? Elder sister or younger sister?

Yes the sheer irritation and anger that comes right after the incident is valid..but it was almost a month since the wedding wasn't it?
Your baby sister got married..out of the blue..with no prior inkling..and you didn't even find it necessary to pause and think why she did what she did?

As per my knowledge...siblings are not like friends or lover..you don't block them...you get a closure and dissolve things before cutting of ties..right?
Did the so called elder sister do that?

And about Kanika...I honestly didn't like the same..that's the sole reason why I stopped reading..
She is finding solace in another endless well that she was dragged into and she is grateful that she escaped the current one
It was so ridiculous to even read..

Both were wrong.. ofcourse I didn't like what Kanika did either..
But what irked me was the sheer disgust and resentment that her elder sister harboured towards her...

I told you not to be ridiculous because you simple let go of this fact...
Usually it's younger siblings who get jealous of the elder ones..that's a little justified too..

But her being jealous and hating her very own baby sister goes above my head..

And I hate her for that...I don't like Kanika either (just to emphasize) but I absolutely hate it when siblings harbour vile emotions and it irks me

I came across your comments on the Love Till Eternity story, and I was truly impressed by the way you express your feelings—your gratitude, respect, and genuine appreciation for the author’s work really stood out to me. It clearly shows how deeply you enjoy and connect with stories. I’m a new author, and I would be honored if you could read my story and share your lovely response, just like you did for that book. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. The story is titled Aayshan {Kaatil-e-Ishq}.
