@radiation567
Thank you for all of your kind words.
I'm glad you enjoyed 'Devotion'; that was actually my first fanwork in about a decade, so it wasn't my best work in a...literary sense. Nonetheless, I am glad you enjoyed it.
Misae's reversion was a surprise to me; I tend to write 'by the seat of my pants', so I don't always know what exactly is going to happen next. I knew that I needed poor Misae to suffer from her loss, but I hadn't planned that particular maladaptive coping mechanism.
If I understand your 'scene that sorta happened in another one' comment, I believe you're referring to what I call 'side calls'. See, my After Stories all take place at around the same time, though within their respective timelines. So I let Tomoya have 'glimpses' of events in the other timelines. I didn't do this in 'Devotion' because...well, besides that fact that I didn't know about specific events in my subsequent works, I didn't come up with the idea of 'side calls' until...'Potential', I believe.
I actually studied the characters pretty thoroughly before writing their After Stories; I wanted to make sure that I understood them to the best of my ability to accurately extrapolate how they would react in certain situations (Kyou's reaction to Jeff in 'Compassion', for example).
Re: Zero? Kanon? Oh goodness, I'm sorry; I don't have enough time to watch the anime or play the visual novels, let alone write 'after stories' for them! I'm terribly sorry. ^_^;
Truth be told; after I finish 'Broken Doll' I'll need to get back to 'Rebirth', my MegaMan X work. I had to shelve it late last year due to not having enough time or attention to give two fanworks simultaneously. After that, I'd like to finish some works that I started way back when but never got to finish.
I do appreciate your praise and thank you for taking the time to read my fanworks.
Blessings,
Magnus Prime
