Hi. My name is Mahlako Chauke. I have always loved and enjoyed writing. It has always been an escape from reality for me. When I would get bored, I'd write, when I am going through something, I'll write. But lately, all of that changed when my problems were big problem that needed money. I thought I'd be able to make money from my books and writing ... I tried this but it didn't work out. I was shattered because I thought, with over 500 followers and people that read my books, I'd get something, even just a tip for a good read. The money is never for nice things but for my tuition debts, my business debts (I'll talk about this one day) and to fund my new business.
This platform was my safe heaven, a place where I could be free and let my imagination run wild.... What was I thinking? That I could make money from this?? LoL.
Well a part of me still thinks I can, I still think writing will make me successful in life. Hence the decision to just continue writing new books, whether or not you tip me, I'll continue because expectations ruin good things.
From me to you, do not set high expectations on things that aren't guaranteed, you will cry till your face cracks. I am glad and happy to be back.
NB: I will not be finishing the Bogatsu book. I need something new and refreshing. I hope you like it.
