For those not on my Discord yet, a live reading of Darklight (yes, the entire thing) is happening tomorrow on my server from 3-7PM Pacific! I'm looking forward to finally performing Darklight for an audience, and I'll be joined by @InolienKiki reading for Siderion and @IAAWTW reading for Kaces. All of it will also be recorded and posted on the server once we're done! The link is in my profile description :)
          
          In other big news, Darklight's first complete draft is officially finished! This is the first novel that I've legitimately finished drafting, so I'll admit I'm a little emotional. The final chapter is chock-full of easter eggs and fun character interactions, and I hope, after the two false endings to this book, it'll do Darklight justice.

For many reasons not limited to the tennis season starting, AP testing coming up and me having the attention span of a goldfish, I'm gonna be swapping to weekly posts of Darklight instead of TKR for the next 3-4 weeks, depending on if the last chapter gets split in half. The book's super close to being done, and I still wanna work on some sort of writing while I'm dying of school since it's basically my only escape, but I just don't have the time to compose music for TKR right now. I'm hopeful that this'll be a big finish for the book and I can finally walk away from it (or at least into editing of it) feeling more satisfied with the ending.

Some sudden inspiration led me to work on Darklight this week instead of TKR. Sorry to any of you that haven't gotten into both novels. Another chapter will be coming next week along with more TKR (hopefully), and now that I've gotten myself unstuck, it's possible we'll be seeing a lot more of Darklight in the coming months...

I've made the executive decision to take another break week from TKR, as a lot of responsibilities of mine happened to stack up onto this Friday and I can't hope to have enough time to keep my creativity going on top of everything else. I know these weeks off have become more frequent, and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to make up for the lost time over the summer. Until then, the senior year grind continues. Thanks for your understanding... <3

both of your stories come a great array of elements, from unique characters, layered and dedicated worldbuilding, exceptional writing, grounded yet complex story, overarching themes and subtle tone.  great stuff coming out so far. looking forward to seeing more in future. keep up the good work :)

I just appeared to update TKR with parts 1 and 2 of Chapter 13 - End of the Tunnel. Fair warning, this isn't actually new content, I just decided to split Blessing in Disguise in half because it turned out to be so much more humongous than I was planning for. Sorry to burst any bubbles. Next chapter part's still coming on Friday! :P

TKR finally has a cover that I can be proud of! It took a few tears to decide to not have another mep on this new one, but I know it looks more professional without, and it draws the eye plenty as is. I did also change Darklight's cover ever so slightly, so kudos if you notice that difference :P
          
          I'm going to be spending today and part of the weekend completely rereleasing my music on YouTube with this new cover, so TKR's music on Wattpad and Discord might be down for short periods of time. I'll try to minimize down time and it's honestly fairly unlikely that you'll catch a page right as I'm updating it, but I just thought you guys should know.
