 A story came to mind: a short story about a young black woman dying of HIV. That sounds really depressing, I know, but I plan for it to be sort of celebratory and accepting. Warm. You know? 

There are no books in this library either -______- and I'm upset.

I have an idea for a short story I've been thinking about and it goes a little something like this: it's about an underground rapper (maybe from the late 90s/00s) from NYC. The book will basically tell his life story, like how he grew up and his rise to fame. The chapter will be set up like the track listing of an album, so I'm thinking something between 15-20 chapters in all. Lol maybe it'll be a deluxe album. I don't know yet. Like I said, it's just been something I've been thinking about.

I had a dream about the guys of Rae Sremmurd the other night and now I have the urge to do an urban story about them...

Nothing is more upsetting than seeing another black man being shot and killed by a white police officer on the news. For some reason these cops think they're all high and mighty and do as they please. I guess some people just don't care to learn from others past experiences.
