I've always believed that the stories we write are pieces of ourselves that we choose to share with the world. My name is Makayla Clark, and ever since I was six years old, I knew I wanted to be an author. I grew up with a deep love for books and an even greater love for writing them. I was born in Philadelphia and raised in Ocala, Florida, and now I reside in Orlando, Florida.

At 18, I decided to release my stories into the world, to open this part of myself to others. Recently, I published a new poem on Amazon Kindle, "The Crowned Boy." It is the first part of a heartfelt, original story. My goal is to write not only for myself, but also for readers who want to truly feel the stories they experience.
