And so Dusk had come. The sky was littered with different colors, the darkness of night quickly encroaching. The small fox was ready to go, her peacock green dress was folded as small as it could get, and was secured tightly upon her back like a backpack. She would leave everything else behind. All her clothes except for her dress. All her jewelery except for a little blue gemmed necklace. All her friends and family without a farewell. She doubted many, if any at all, would even notice that her presence was missing from this place. The four tailed Red fox with the dress tied to her back would emerge from the den, fed and full, ready for the trek to the new land. Perhaps she would return some time soon, if she found that place to be too much for her, or too boring. With that, Mamori would pad over to the edge of her clearing, taking one last glance at the place she called home for so long, at the place she raised her children almost single handedly, a place filled with both good and bad memories, and would let out a single, loud bark as a goodbye, and then turned, tails hovering low to the ground and ears folded just slightly. She started moving out, scampering quickly, but not fast enough to be called a run, getting deeper and deeper into the quickly darkening forest. She was unsure if this goodbye would be permanent yet or not, but that was only for the future to tell.

@Times_Strange Dirk jumped, and stood up. "Mamori? Is that you?" He asked hopefully, and waited for an answer. When there wasn't a reply, he began to follow the source of the sound by going west.

@KnightRolePlayer The forest was rather silent, save for the sound of the occasional Cicada or the chirp of a bird. The air was warm, winter was ending quickly, and there wasn't much more than a breeze in the air. It was around ten degrees Celsius with the wind. In the background one could hear the soft wake in the massive mountian spring fed lake not far from here. There was little evidence of Mamori's presence other than the den she left behind. Yet with a sudden ruffle in the low lying brush of the thick forest, the natural silence was broken. Someone, or perhaps something, was leaving the premises, and rather quite quickly, headed west. @Mamori_Reborn Dirk ran into the forest, looking around for Mamori. "Mamori? Are you here?" He asked, and kept looking. He eventually found her home, abandoned. Dirk knelt down. "No...no!! Mamori can't be gone!" He looked around for hours on end. Dirk eventually gave up, and then laid by her den, curling up. "I miss you, Mamori....."
