Hiya, Mana-kun here!
          
          I'd like to make a few announcements:
          
          Yes, Retired Soldier will be continuing, I haven't given up on it. I've spent some time thinking about where to take the direction of the story. And what I've concluded is that there needs to be some changes. 
          
          1) The title of the novel will be renamed to "The Reborn Veteran is an Aristocrat". It sounds catchier and it still fits the story.
          
          2) A new cover will come. It may not be as good as the current one, but bear with me.
          
          3) The story is to be rewritten in a first-person perspective. Why is this? Because I felt like I could portray my character's emotions best (especially Fenris) if I stepped into their shoes. There will be some story alterations, but things will overall remain the same.
          
          That is all I have for you folks. Expect new chapters coming in April!

I know that this is late but I'd like to pay my respects to Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball.
          
          While I may not be as diehard of a fan as some others amongst us or off this platform, I watched the entirety of the original Dragon Ball and I plan to watch DBZ at some point. But it feels sad now that the legend who created it is now gone.
          
          For those uninformed, Toriyama died due to a blood vessel popping in his brain. He died too early for our world at the age of 68.
          
          Rest in Peace, you legend of literature. 

Heyo! I apologize for my lack of activity on the platform, as personal stuff got in the way. Also, for the lack of chapter updates, for this latest chapter, I did NOT want to finish it but I pushed myself to do so because I love you guys so much. For sticking around this long, I shall reveal the title of the newest chapter!

Hello everyone!
          
          Apologies for the lack of updates, school's got me in the ass right now. But I think I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. 
          
          Anyways, chapter 5 has been officially completed! It will be another two-parter, with the first part scheduled to come out at approximately 10:15 PM for EST readers. The second part is in the works, and is expected to come out far sooner than the first, lol.
          
          The title of Chapter 5 is called "Sword Training".

As of yesterday, we have concluded Chapter 4! I've also reached 800 reads (as of writing this), and 137 votes and counting. Thank you so much for all of the support you have been giving me (trust me, I've been watching)!
          
          I was thinking about making a Discord server as an official hub for not just Retired Soldier, but future novels too. Would you be willing to join it if I made it? Leave replies below!

How funny. It seems like my novel actually got restricted by the flagging system. Welp, that's what I get for being myself I suppose. 
          
          Note that the content will not change, but just remember to add my book to your reading lists if you haven't already so that you'll be able to find it immediately. Also, I'd like to encourage you to tell your friends to follow my profile since, if you're following me, you know that I produce quality stuff (or at least, I try to). It's worth the risk!
          
          Also, a little bit late announcement here, but thank you for over 400 reads!! I hit this number yesterday in the span of a few hours after releasing my newest chapter. Speaking of, we'll be wrapping up Chapter 4 once and for all with part 4 coming soon. So stay tuned for that!
