Hello I am Mane Event Equine. I go by Mane or MEE. I have been writing as long as I can remember. All through elementary and middle school I was winning monthly writing awards. I went to contests for speeches and entered in writing contests often too. I won some, and lost some. The main thing for me is I really have to be interested in the topic to make it good. I went to Nationals and received fifth place last year on a speech about horses. When I was 10, a published children's book author came to our school. She had us write a sequel to her book for fun. She loved mine and was interested in helping me get it published. I never looked into it though, which I still regret to this day. Currently I am writing a book called "Olympic Fantasy" somewhat inspired by my life, with fiction thrown into the mix. In a very abbreviated version, is about a girl working her whole life to compete in the eventing Olympics. I plan on making it a novel or a novella. I just stared it though. I am an avid horse rider and I am trying to make my way into the Olympics as well.
