Hello, all.
It's been a while. For quite a bit of time, I have been discouraged in regard to my writing. I felt like I just didn't have the vision to think of a cool idea and follow through with turning it into a cohesive story. That's what happened to me with Fireflies unfortunately and why I haven't updated it this whole time.
But a funny thing happened to me about 2 years ago. I took Creative Writing as an elective course in college and had to write a short story for an assignment. I got super invested in this assignment and the story I was making and by the time I was done, it was about 5000 words long. Too bad I couldn't turn it in for a damn grade because I didn't read the intstructions stating that our short stories had to be 600 words max. Whoops.
Had to write a whole new short story to turn in, but it's a real shame what happened to the first story. It was the one I enjoyed writing the most. That why I will be posting it here. I will edit and expand parts of the story and will be uploading here as smaller chapters. The current working title is 'My first and last sleepover at my best friend’s house'. I hope whoever comes across it here on wattpad will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
