I enjoy reading coz it helps me to avoid the real world and how scary it can be sometimes.
I am currently working on a dark thriller type of story with plenty of blood and gore, and maybe a bit of romance. but I don't know if it will really interest many readers so It's something I'm just working on at the moment.
