How much they gossip, how much they stare.
She never covered her body with long sleeves, never hid her face,
She looked straight to the predator's face without losing her grace.
She went out late at night, partying with her friends,
For the mistakes never committed, she will not make amends.
Earns for herself, a true epitome of independence,
Against the world of demons, she built her own fence.
She raised her voice, made her own decisions,
She might sound normal but she's an inspiration.
All the passing comments, the judgement filled eyes made her even stronger,
Everytime she fell hard, she told herself that she's in it for longer.
Not just a housewife, taking care of kids and doing daily chores,
She's brave enough now, overcoming old sores.
When they acted with violence, she didn't answer with just a scream,
When they tried to drag her, she didn't lose her self-esteem.
It is not easy for her, she has to fight hard,
There's no king, no queen, it's not a game of cards.
She might not be Sania Mirza, Mithali Raj or Mary Kom,
She's in every player, writer and every single mom.
She shouts in the streets, hoisting her signs,
A part of a galaxy where every star shines.
She loves to live in peace and treat people with kindness,
Nobody can rule her life, she has her own harness.
Climbed all the walls they created, now she's a winner.
Just because she's a women doesn't mean she's a sinner.
