"You'd like to go find butterflies to dance with, and find spring flowers to pick?" Her daughter nodded, excitement growing. Her mother let out a small laugh.

The little rabbit then continued. "But also, can's we go looking for butterflies and springtime flowers at other places?" Her mother looked at her curiously. "How do you mean, sweatpea?" She asked her. "Like, at other places we hasn't been to before. Like a real adventure!" Her mother's smile shifted subtly, though the enthusiastic, young rabbit didn't notice.

Reaching a hand to pet her head, her mother said to her, "Some day. You've got all the time in the world to go on adventures to anywhere you'd like." She told her. "Promise?" Her mother gave her daughter a nod. "I promise, Shine." Shine beamed, hearing that.

A knock sounded on the front door, instantly catching her mother's attention. "Ah, that might be the mailman." Shine blinked, watching her mother as she went to answer whoever was at the door. The exchange was brief, a man's voice stating he had a letter "for Phoebe". It ending with a polite "thank you" from her mother before she closed the door. She now held an envelope in her hand.

"Who sented you a letter, Mama?" Shine wondered, trailing alongside her mother while she went to sit at the small, kitchen table with the letter.

His felt himself jump when a hand found his shoulder. Puppet looked over his shoulder. His father was giving him a concerned look. "I don't think we should stay long, fy mab." He suggested. Puppet shook his head a little. "It's fine, we've got some time to sit with him, like I said-"

"Puppet." Py was giving his son a pointed look. "For both your sakes. Your brother needs space, and you..." Puppet looked away. "... you need rest." Py told him. Puppet closed his eyes, sighing a little. "... alright."

Taking one last look about the room, Puppet spoke up again. "We'll see you, Nat. Enjoy the oatmeal... Dad added honey for you." He hoped that added detail would be worth something, at least. Py gave his younger son a sympathetic look, before turning to begin for the basement door.

Without further word, they left the Sanctuary.

Brother and sister wore the same warm smile while they made their way into the humble house's kitchen—where the bear had been set up studying again. Per her brother's offer, the fox went to retrieve a raspberry muffin from the container of muffins on the kitchen counter, as well as a napkin. After, she took up a seat at the kitchen table with her brother.

"Aye, well," Foxy stood up straight again. He gave his friend a pat on the shoulder. "No rush, t'was just a stray thought." He assured the bunny, walking back around the woodcutting table to continue sawing the planks. Bonnie chuckled again more quietly, taking his hammer back out while returning to the ladder steps he had been hammering onto the tree trunk.

The silence between the two fell more comfortable now, though Bonnie's train of thought was now sifting various memories of times he could think when he and Toy had mentioned kids. All thanks to Foxy's 'stray thought'.

While sawing away the planks, Foxy did notice an uptick in Bonnie's part of the tree ship prep work. That, and how the bunny was suddenly much more focused on what he was doing. Foxy merely hummed to himself, though couldn't help a quiet laugh at his friend's reaction to his question, all the same.

Getting to visit her friends in Newer Home always was a treat. Even if, slowly but surely, Newer Home was beginning to feel like her second home, nowadays.

Sophie's afternoon was planned to be spent mostly in Newer Home, considering she had two different reasons for being here. So, she was factoring the expected run-ins with other Anthros as she went about her business.

"I'm not intruding on your time with the little one, am I?" Bernadette laughed a little, shaking her head 'no' in answer. "Oh, no you aren't," she assured him. "Annie and I were just goin' to spend some of the day together." Bernadette held Annie closer to her face, gently nuzzling her cheek as she asked her, "Ain't that right, my little sweetie?" Annie squealed in an amused reaction.
Once Bernadette lowered Annie to her lap again, Py held a hand towards Annie. The little cub curiously reached for one of his fingers, squeezing it with a surprising grip to her little paw. "Don't you miss them bein' this small?" Bernadette asked with a fond tone. Py chuckled a little. "I quite do... though, I am happy you're able to experience your grandchild's infanthood."
"It's certainly a blessin'," Bernadette said, giving Py a sympathetic look. "And, if nothin' else, I'm happy you get a chance to know Annie while she's this little." Py gave Bernadette a smile. "I... well, thank you, Aderyn." Annie let go of Py's finger, returning to holding onto her plush dog tightly
"Now then," Bernadette continued. "Since I've got you here, how about that raincheque?" Py paused. He nearly gave Bernadette a confused look, but his donning realisation hit first. "Ah, yes. Thank you for remembering." Bernadette hummed. "Don't mention it. I'm all ears, what'd you want to ask me about?"
"I was curious to hear your opinion on a family matter." Py said. "Right, I remember." Bernadette confirmed. He continued. "I'm unsure if you knew, or not, but Nat has been... er, well... 'residing' at the Sanctuary for a time, now."

"I... think a walk may be good, for now." Ballora, too, looked out at the bright, spring's day. "A walk sounds lovely." She agreed. "Would you want some company?" Letting go of his daughter-in-law's hand, Py shook his head 'no'. "Thank you, but not this time." He said to her, a hand reaching to adjust the brim of his hat.

Ballora stepped away from the foyer, letting the elder Marionette head for the door. "Alright. Have a good walk, Py." Py smiled back at her, before leaving the house.

Now with a near silence through the home—save for her daughters enthusiastic voices from their room upstairs—Ballora idly glance around. Her sights landed on the dark, wooden piano in the living room. She smiled to herself, knowing she had some time to spend on her own.

With her chosen activity in mind, Ballora went to the bookshelf near the piano to retrieve her favorite song book to play from—this book, in particular, being full of classical pieces from ballet variations she either had danced before, or wished she could've learned.

The house was soon filled with a soft, graceful piano melody. A graceful, piano melody that quickly found itself an audience of four, who quietly returned downstairs and found their spots on top of the piano to listen as their mother played.

Though he'd approved a five minute stop at the playground, the fox still wisely shot his friend a quick text to at least assure the bunny that yes, they were still going to meet him at the hardware store. But they'd be held up, due to an unforeseen run in with a young, yellow-furred rabbit at the playground of Newer Home's park.

Plushy had first spotted Jessie as she excitedly hurried ahead of her dad and adoptive brother,

For a moment, the Marionette didn't yet continued his search of the filing cabinet. His attention instead turned to the golden bear still in the office with him. "Did you need something, Fredbear?" He noticed a small flinch of a reaction from the bear upon saying his name. The Marionette held his tongue. Gold shrugged. "Not exactly," he began, going to the office desk and pulling up the chair to sit in.

Curiously, the Marionette watched as the bear laid his arms, crossed, on the desk's surface—resting his head on them. "... the basement was lonely." Gold quietly confessed. The Marionette quietly sighed, giving the bear a sympathetic look. He stepped away from the cabinet long enough to give his friend a comforting pat on the shoulder. "Got, you."

"Thanks." Gold hummed, letting himself rest his eyes for a few minutes while the Marionette continued going through the various manila folders in the cabinet drawer.

Making her way up to the front door of the house, the rabbit pressed the doorbell on the frame. She stepped back, waiting patiently a few moments before her ring was answered—the door being pulled open by the very person she was here to see. Seeing Shine standing on his front step, the Marionette smiled. "Hi, Shine."

"Hey, Puppet!" The rabbit greeted in turn, before asking, "Were you busy, by any chance?" Shaking his head 'no', Puppet answered, "Not particularly. Here," he held the door open further, "you can come in." Shine hummed a "thanks", accepting the invitation.
