(2024 update) 'Lo, ev'ryone! It's been 5+ years since I came here to Wattpad but I'm finally returning to my roots as a writer of original novels and stories. 
          
          For those who have been following me for years, I apologize, but I don't write fanfiction anymore. "And All That Was Lost..." is only here because it is actually a complete one-shot of rotxinxpieces' Underworld Chronicles series.
          
          Now, to new stuff for 2024...
          
          Ignore my Ream at the moment—I'm not ready to make my stories subscription-based. I'm experimenting with smaller projects for now. I'm also not doing well health-wise, so...that's another reason. 
          
          My first experiment is WHEN THE MOON SHINES RED, a very slow-burn erotic monster romance novella featuring those two pale bastards up there on my profile banner.  Read the Introduction before chapter one for more info on my plans.

          Not for any horrible reason...just...well...
          
          I am not supposed to say this because I like to keep these two accounts separate, but I now write original fiction on World Anvil, AO3, and here on Wattpad, with both AO3 and WP under the name @Qaroll. On World Anvil, I go by my name Mar Qaroll.
          
          Yeah, this is essentially a shameless plug. But I just thought...why not? People are STILL following me here, and I feel bad about it because I won't be finishing AGoFU or The Gods' Collection fanfiction series. 
          
          Will I EVER write fanfiction again??? Maybe. Probably...not. I am so sorry, everyone. I'm really trying to focus on my original work and myself as a writer of original work. I've grown so much since 2017, which was when I first started taking my work seriously, and I believe it shows. 
          
          Am I still a fan of the UC series?! FUCK YEAH!!! 
          
          But...them's the ropes, folks. I have stories on AO3 and FanFiction.net that are incomplete, too. It's a mess, but I am 100% standing by this decision with eager anticipation for the current 34 works I have in mind and beyond.

Hey I love your As Gods Forsake Us story. Just a quick question, on AO3 there are only 5 chapters posted but on Wattpad there are over 20. Are you rewriting it on AO3?

'Lo, ev'ryone. It's been some long three/four months, but I haven't forgotten As Gods Forsake Us! I thank everyone profusely for all your likes and comments on it! I don't think I've had a fanfiction so well-liked since my Bleach series, Echo.
          
          However...a few things. Please read everything so there are no misunderstandings later.
          
          First, about Wattpad. I have issues with Wattpad. Haven't been here long, and I've noticed them. I don't like them. The recent changes are not the problem. The community /is/. It's too...social-media-y. Too biased. And too immature.
          
          Second, about AGoFU. No, no, no. I WON'T be dropping it. But I will say that finishing it relies heavily on Rotty finishing the last book in the UC series. My retelling of the series is, as I mentioned in ANs, part of a huge fanfiction project that encompasses things from original stories AND other fandoms. The severe differences in AGoFU from the original series are evidence of this. I'm so freaking EXCITED for this project. But book 24 needs to be completed, first. Wish I'd thought this through...
          
          In other words, even if I wanted to finish AGoFU right now, I can't. Again, that's my fault. I should have waited. I have two more completed chapters before I have nothing more that is already done with only structured ideas for the last four to five chapters. I'll probably edit the previous chapters, too. Ugh.
          
          As for the Wattpad issue...I plan on moseying over to the awesomeness that is AO3 for all my fanfiction and even my original stories, when/if I upload them. I'm not actually /leaving/ Wattpad; my profile will still be here! But after these two new chapters, everything else of The Gods Collection (my UC fanfic series) will be on AO3. 
          
          Whether or not I'll ever upload anything else here...I dunno. It's a possibility, for sure. 
          
          Please let me know when you'd like to have these two new chapters! I can upload them ASAP, or one for Christmas and another for New Year's.
