I’m having vision issues. (x╭╮x)
It’s not that bad, but I can’t look at screens for very long without getting a headache due to seeing slight halos around lights.
I made an eye appointment for as soon as possible.
I’m just announcing this since it’s slowing down writing for me on my laptop. I also can’t draw on my ipad at all because the dark lines of my style make it impossible to properly see what I’m doing while my vision is like this. (╥﹏╥)
I doubt it’s anything serious, and I’m sure I’ll be able to get it figured out soon. Hopefully I can start writing more frequently again! Right now, I just have to write in small amounts, which is a mix of writing the next chapter and editing the older ones. It’s just a bit of a slower process at the moment.

School’s taking priority for me right now! I’ve been pretty busy with work and school and I haven’t had a lot of mental energy left over to write.
The next chapter is mostly done, and I just need to write the last part of it before going into the editing process. It’s quite the long chapter and may end up being my longest one yet! Lol

I completely underestimated how long this chapter is taking to write. In my last post I said that it would probably be out sometime this week, but unfortunately, that’s not looking like it’s going to be the case. I feel pretty bad about it, and I’m very sorry for the incorrect estimate.
In the meantime, in order to kind of make up for that, anyone who reads this post before Chapter 44 is welcome to ask questions that will be answered at the end of the chapter 44 when it’s posted.
These questions can be ones about the characters, or canonicity, or the world they live in, etc. I will not answer anything that could be a spoiler. There isn’t necessarily a limit to the amount of questions a single person can ask, just don’t over do it lol
No one has to do this unless they want to of course, and I’m perfectly fine with if no questions are asked. I just feel pretty bad about the incorrect estimate of time this chapter is taking, and thought this might be a nice thing to offer :)

QUESTION ONE: Jr and Luigi will cross paths in the story eventually. How they will interact, you will just have to wait and see ;) QUESTION DOS: This is an interesting theory! Not going to confirm or deny anything to avoid spoilers >:3 Question TREE: I think I know what art you’re talking about. I will say that the specific art with dialogue doesn’t actually take place in the mindscape, but a different domain entirely. It takes place in the domain that the shadowed man had been dragged into by the glowing white chains. I will give a little teaser/fun fact about the mindscape though! The mindscape didn’t always “belong” to the shadowed man, but rather, it used to be the domain of a certain character that is from the Mario franchise, one that has yet to make an appearance in the story yet. It may be a while till that fact is confirmed in the story, so consider that a little bonus fact for now lol Art question: people are allowed to submit as much fan art as they wish, there really isn’t a limit lol! Any art that is sent in between chapters (that I get the permission to share) will be put at the end of the next chapter posted :D Thank you for the great questions! I've moved to Ao3 but just wanted to let you know I come back every once in awhile to see if you've posted or updated. Mental health stuff sucks, I'm sorry you're going through that. Yes, last year was quite hard for me, but I have hope this year will be much better. Ive considered posting my story on other places before, so maybe I’ll check out Ao3 at some point! I’m so glad you’ve been inspired to write your own fanfictions! Fanfiction is a great way to express creativity and improve writing skill. Comparing my old chapters to my newer ones, I can see how much I’ve improved over time lol.

@LynnLoves2Read Can I be bold and offer mine? Its a historical type romance with tons of classic characters. It isn't a x reader, more x oc but its a slow burn with lots of mario x peach fluff.
