Here is a crazy idea I like your thoughts on.   Spartan 000.  they gave him the only triple 0 number to say that he did not exist.  as Master Chief a legend of the spartans, and the Spartan Noble 6 are the only two to given the combat rating of "hyper-lethal". This is of note because before they hid Spartan 000 he is the only one who had the combat rating of "max-lethal".  The reason the Spartan 000 is so powerful is because when they where doing the chemical enhancements part of the physical development that where later stopped after the second gen of spartans, they injected a strange red chemical into him.  what the scientists and spartan program directors did not now was that this red chemical was in fact blood from a being in another dimension, the Doom dimension to be precise, and the blood came from the one man the hell came to fear the Doom Slayer.  Now Spartan 000 is the Doom Slayer's dimensional counterpart in the Halo universe.  Because of this when they injected the Doom Slayer's blood into Spartan 000 when he was in his physical development part of the seconded gen spartan program his body began to quickly grow to be almost as powerful and resilient as his Doom universe counterpart.  Seeing how powerful the scientists and spartan program directors decided to put Spartan 000 into cryo sleep in a hidden bunker deep under one of the cites on Reach.  now years latter after Reach fell a space ship of the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) crashes on reach and causes Spartan to finally wake up from his long cryo sleep.  After putting on his red MJOLNIR Armor he went up to see what had woken him up.  He found the crew of the UNSC ship and their alien allies under attack from a hostile alien force.  Spartan 000 did what he was trained to do and engaged the hostile force, however to say that he engaged the enemy might be a bit of a understatement.  As while the enemy force outnumbered him 300 to 1 he tore through them.
