This is Marco's brother. Originally, we were not going to post anything on any of their accounts, but quite a few of you have reached out via DMs to figure out where they went. This account was held and run by two people, and out of respect, Marco's partner has surrendered the account and agreed to move to a different name soon. You may be wondering why he would do such a thing.
On November 3rd, Marco committed suicide. They always struggled with depression and anxiety and they had been seeing a therapist for many years. It was out of the blue and very sudden. We are still trying to access all of their accounts to find out if there was a physical trigger from an internet friend or stranger.
Depression is an extremely serious illness and it's nothing to joke about. My baby brother was the most important person in my world and now they're gone because of years and years of bullying for something they couldn't help. No one deserves to be mocked for their gender, sexuality, body, race, or aspect of themselves that they absolutely cannot control. Please treat the people you meet with kindness and stay aware of the condition of your friends and family. If something feels off, please check on them.
