Ok writers, question time: thoughts on writing about grief and loss and stuff? I'll go first; Pretty poggers ngl. I like it a lot for some reason. That Fantastic Beasts fic one-shot I wrote a while ago? I love it. Might be one of my best works so far lol.
@Flutter_smile There is something strangely therapeutic about putting your favourite characters through mental anguish. Especially if it's alright in the end, I find at least. It's very interesting how writing works tbh. I do find myself writing sadder fics than I'd read sometimes. My friend jokingly called me a masochist once for liking angst and whump fics lol, but there really is something about it. Also, ur 100% right
I think it’s an excellent way to figure out emotions
Writing about grief and loss can help anyone with the process or just help someone understand it better

Writing fics is fun until you realise that your fics are usually about about loneliness, dealing with loss and the fallouts of traumatic events, recovering from trauma, family and/or found family, friendships and being loved and loving others. Like what the hell does this say about me lmao

@Maren-Emilie well, if u wish to post them on other platforms u can try, but lemme say this. Not everybody on Wattpad is interested in the same things, trust me when I say that. There r some that will take interest in your stories and will love em to the fullest
