Categories of Data Processing
              Data processing can be categorized as either mechanical or electronic.
          1. Mechanical Data Processing
          - it uses equipment as calculator or typewriter to aid in processing data but  data processing operation will done manually, thus they often require constant manual intervention between the different data processing operation.
          
          
          
          2.  Electronic Data Processing
          - data processing operations are performed automatically with limited manual procedure. Different types of input devices maybe interconnected to an electronic to process of data.

          1. Recording - refers to the transfer of data from one form to another.
          2. Verifying - refers to the checking of data  for any errors or discrepancy because most are recorded manually.
          3. Duplicating - is the reproduction of data into many forms.
          4. Classifying - separates data into its distinctive categories.
