hi, okay here's the plot of Mortal (sequel to Phantom). idk if i remember it correctly okay? bc its been a long time since ive read this book, and apparently the author removed this book too, for her own reasons so ill do my best to tell you the story :)
okay, so harry in the first book is a phantom living between death and life, but in this second book he came to life, he actually came back from the dead and its bc of technology or something, but in that year he came to life again he realized, the girl he fell in love with, in the first book (i dont really remember her name anymore) was now dead, and he was determined to bring her back to life just like how the doctors gave his, bc it was finally their chance to be together.
So he asked the people who were responsible for his resurrection to bring her back to life again. So yea she came back, theyre finally together but harry's friends wanted the same thing too for their loved ones who passed away, they want harry to ask the doctors to revive their loved ones too. But harry thought to himself, wait this is not right anymore, this is not the natural cycle of a human, we are defying nature.
so basically i think this story revolves around love, decisions, nature, future, and in my opinion it involves religious beliefs on what is right and wrong about bringing the dead back to life.
yea thats the whole plot of the story that ive read before the author, deleted it bc she said it was pointless to make a sequel. yea i hope i helped you :)
