          Versailles Book 12: The Singer (Vanity and Arch)
          Versailles Book 13: The Actress (Asia and Caden)
          Versailles Book 14: The Architect (Selene and Atlas)
          
          I know Caden is one of the most requested books to be published, and here he is. But since I am excited to write about him, I bundled him with two books with characters I don’t see readers talk about often. Vanity is the resident wedding singer, and her book is special to me because I get to relive memories of the person I consider the one who got away. Through Vanity and Asia, I wanted to touch on the toxic culture of the entertainment industry, so that’s something you should look forward to. Selene’s book also reminds me of how someone views young love and how it shapes how we love someone going forward. 
          
          As with my previous books, humuhugot ako sa mga personal experiences and experiences of people close to me. Characters are influenced by people I know or people who significantly impacted me. 
          
          I have personal views and opinions that may or may not align with how you see things. I want my community to be as peaceful, open, and inclusive as possible. Ayoko ng may hostility, and I really appreciate my readers who don’t ruin the other readers’ experience. 
          
          The year has been very eventful, writing-wise and personal-wise. A lot has been going on in my life this year, and writing books is one of my outlets and coping mechanisms. I am guilty of delaying the books of my favourite characters, but it doesn’t make the first books any less loved by me, which is why I am revising them. 
          
          I hope you are still with me next year and see how these characters play out.
          Thank you for being part of my year. I would love to spend the next ones with you.

          Versailles Book 11: The Painter (Diosa and Enchong)
          Technically, I’m done writing this despite it not getting published yet. I wanted to have a more conflicted character in the form of Enchong and Diosa. I learned a lot while writing the book, especially about colour blindness or a more accepted term, colour vision deficiency. Guys, hindi totoo iyung colourblind glasses. Haha. Anyway,  I wanted to see how an easy-going, carefree woman like Diosa would fall in love with a brooding and reserved Enchong. Another grumpy x sunshine, but the difference is that there isn’t animosity between the characters. Not wanting to spoil anything, this is one of my favourite books to write, too, just because I tried to express some childhood generational trauma like over-the-top expectations, the need to grow up fast, and missing childhood.

          Versailles Book 10: The Reporter (Savannah and Damon)
          I’m a fan of second chances, and sometimes, second chances are spent with new people. Savannah inspired me by the FMC from the World of the Married, and I’ve always been a feminist that’s why I concentrate on women for this series. Also, I wanted to see how Damon’s character plays out as someone who previously liked Hera and who became an instant father following a family tragedy. He is someone I imagine to be chivalrous, handsome, and perfect. I thought their personalities would play out well as a woman who wanted to prove something and be strong and independent, while Damon is a selfless person who would do anything for someone he loves.

          Versailles Book 9: The Lawyer (Hera and Enteng)
          It’s one of my favourite books to write in the series. Grumpy x Sunshine has always been a favourite trope of mine. I tried to make their backstories deep and diverse (I hope I pulled through). I’m glad a lot of my readers loved the book and that they re-read it a lot after it was completed. Enteng has always been a constant character in the previous books, and Hera is an instrumental character in Carrie’s story. Of course, I have some political views injected here and there, so if you are a very passionate and political person, I don’t know if you’ll like this, especially if you don’t have the same views. Anyway, it’s an easy read for people who just want to read something light.
