I was born and raised in New York. My mother is a retired police officer and my father is a plumber. They raised me on rock and roll and always encouraged imagination. I have three younger siblings, a rabbit, a cat, and a gargoyle - all of which I tell my stories to constantly. 

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. When I was in first grade I wrote a dinosaur love story, and since then I have not put a pen down. So when I reached junior year in high school I decide I would go to college to become what I always had been : A Novelist.  

The summer of 2010 I attended the TeenInk Intensive Writing Program in New York City with 32 amazing girls and gifted writers. This was my first time being around authors that share the same passion for writing that I have. 

In the Fall of 2012 I start as an Education and Creative Writing major at Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
