❝ I want you to know that you do not always need to give it your 100%. You really do not. Let's be honest here, you're human and you're simply not always going to be able to. There are days when you're only able to give it your 80% or your 50% or heck, even less than 10% and THAT IS OKAY. Only skimming one paragraph, only solving one equation, only memorising five words is better than not doing anything because you have this idea in your head that things are only worth doing when you can give what you consider to be your 100%. Even a 1% is better than 0% and some days that is all you can give. Worry not because it will still add up and you will succeed. ❞

a small token of kindness (25th July 2021)

the sun fades each day. the shine of the moon fluctuates. the smell of tulips and jasmines decreases and the strength in your lungs diminishes.
the issue is each day brings with itself a lot of death in comparison to life.
some things die more than stay alive.
the smell of the air loses its poetry. the shine of the dark loses its comfort. the colour of the meadows become less pleasant and the stars of the night lose their shine.

          and then there are humans.

we lose a little of our blood. the earth feeds upon our lungs. the worries choose to devour our strength and the cycles of nature drag us closer to death.

each day, we lose more, we gain a bit and we become different.

yet nothing seems extraordinarily out of the common.

just as how easily you transitioned from a child to an adult, you will change to an elderly person. when such a time will arrive you will look back upon the golden moments of your life and find nothing in your memory.

therefore, i press this upon you with utmost integrity, that just as the nature employs seasons and weathers for its inhabitants to bear privacy, so must you.

with the hope that when the dusk of life begins to descend upon you, your brain has within itself made intact every second of all your heartbeats and changes so that you may have all the old age to reminisce the moments of gold that had passed away too soon.

only if you live with yourself each day, every minute and second will the cruciality of existence make you value your soul. just because all you did was stay stationary on some days, does not mean you were still.

memorize the tiniest details of your changes so that you may realise, that no matter what, you will continue to exist.
and that death is for those who have gone rigid in their lives, not for the ones who exist with their heart and spirit all the time.

@Marion1432 but nobody talked anything about moving backwards in life ^^
I meant to convey that cherish every little change and moment lest it should be snatched from you too soon.

@adropofhumanity Don’t waste your time looking back on what you have lost. Move on, life is not meant to be traveled backwards.
