@TEJJohnson you've managed to edit it to a great level. it was easy to digest with scintillating characters and great villians in every aspect of every characters lives.  you can see they all have challenges and rich selves.  so many books for young people have no adults around or if they do they're so thin theyre not like people at all. while its true young ppl themselves dont often reflect on the personhood of the adults around them i found this aspect compelling recently.  
            
            of course the story itself pulled me along. i stuck around through the intro because of the promise of your girl meeting talking cats and rats in the blurb (waiting for rabbits and dragons now) and im glad i did.
            
            thankyou for putting a great deal of thought and effort into your book.  good luck and i look forward to reading more.
