Marshall Makhubo is an author  of a novel titled, "Love Lies Beautiful and Ugly" and an anthology about gendered violence titled, "Why do we kill our women and why are we so bitter?" 

Marshall wrote a book about marriage and he touch-bases on having an affair, ilobolo and communication. The book is titled "I love F**king my wife" a book he wrote with Zandile Phungwayo-Makhubo.

Marshall has also featured his mother (Lindiwe Gladys Mathonsi-Twala) on a book titled, "Just because I'm a woman" whereby he encourages women to do better with their lives and not depend on men.

Marshall Makhubo, Zandile Phungwayo-Makhubo and Kganya Makhubo are directors of an NGO called "Wathint' Afabazi Wathint' Isisiwe"

Marshall aims to fight against gender-based violence and he wants to be the voice of women who cannot speak out.

Marshall Makhubo is a play-wright, song-writer, poet and a novelist. He writes about concerns of the society, sci-fi, fiction and romance.

He comes from a household whereby he went to bed with an empty stomach, now he is fighting to achieve his goals while he also gives back to the community.

Marshall is also a director of a company called "Marshall Makhubo Novels" a company that specializes in identifying young talent and help the youth make a career out of their talent.
