The first book I remember reading on my own (for pleasure) was "Magic in the Park" by Ruth Chew. I was in fifth grade when I found it sitting there on a table. It called out to me and started my love of reading.
I've been writing since high school and can't imagine ever stopping.
This is my first jaunt into the fan fiction arena, but it's with something I have strong feelings for. I am a teacher and have read The Magic Tree House stories to my students for over fifteen years. The tales of Jack and Annie have launched many of my young readers into a life-long love of literature.
Lots of Love,
Marta
