Sprig is a Little Man about 5' tall--quite large for one of that race. He is a healer, discoverer, and sage, with a curiosity streak that sends him frequently onto the unpredictable Slipaway Trail, looking for adventure and new things to learn.
He keeps a journal of all his travels and has agreed to allow me to share some of his entries so that other "big people" (as he calls us) can learn about his exciting and curious world.
My name is Marti Verlander, but I write fiction under my maiden name, Martha Gilstrap. I currently have three books published and am working on the fourth.
