Hello, Little Ones.
I've been debating over something and I've finally made a decision. (After having a serious talk with some people that know I'm writing.)
I'm going to be doing a major editing session with my book Rise Up.
Yes, I know.
'But you haven't even been uploading frequently, so why do that? Can't you just edit in between writing chapters?'
Some of you make think that but I hope I don't insult anyone when I say, I have other things that take priority in my life.
I'm just a young adult that wanted to write something that others would enjoy reading, that's still true to this day, and will continue to be in the future.
However, I feel like my book is lacking in many ways than one, so... which brings me to the important part of this announcement.
I'll be going on a short hiatus. I won't be uploading any new chapters for Rise Up, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be working on it. I will.
I promise.
There's a lot of pressure for people who write their first stories that many don't think about.
'Is my book good enough? Did they enjoy it? Does that even make sense? Should I just delete my book? What if someone hates it? Oh, god... did I even correct that one line?'
Yeah. A lot of pressure, but that could go away if silent readers would also voice their thoughts with constructive criticism.
So, with that in mind, please forgive this sinful act of mine.
I'll be on hiatus for about a month or so. If you can skim over the chapters that are published, and leave your thoughts on them... I would be thrilled to read them. If you want to connect with me personally, you can dm me on my Instagram, which is the same as my user tag.
