Ok so Top Gun Head cannon that I just thought of 
          (I tried to make it understandable for the none TopGun fans)
          
          Hangman (from the second TopGun) is the Son of Charlie (love interest in the first TopGun) and Maverick (Main Character in both TopGuns) but Maverick doesn’t know that hangman is his son because Charlie put Hangman up for adoption and he was adopted by people in Texas (bc the actor is from Texas so ppl automatically assume the character’s from Texas) and bc he grew up in Texas that is why he has the whole southern charm/country boy vibes that literally make me think of him as daddy
