Finally started watching Sailor Moon and I’m not entirely unconvinced that Miraculous didn’t just copy it. Either those are the magical girl tropes or miraculous wants to be Sailor Moon soooooo bad
I think a bit of both honestly. I know Sailor moon established a lot of the current Magical Girl tropes simply for its popularity in the genre-

Meh, from what I’ve heard, the fannon content is where the good stuff is at (with the fandom I’m currently drowning in anyways)
