Alex Auguste is a Haitian-American storyteller whose works immerse in worlds that look and feel like ours, while introducing us to characters challenged with self-discovery while rising to occasions that show us how to overcome the struggles in the world around us. With an introspective lens, Auguste's parable-like stories challenge readers to appreciate our individual powers in a society filled with systems, foundations, and status quo. Framing the past, present in new imaginative ways, Auguste's brand of fiction came to life with his 2018 novel series, "We Missed A Meeting". A light-hearted yet dark science fiction piece, the series juxtaposes the uncomfortable conversation of race, technology, and the advancements of human civilization while predicting the dark and less discussed challenges that may very well be the future of the world as it inches towards space exploration and the singularity. In 2021, Auguste introduced Origins24: The Anthology Series with "A Boy Bathed in Blood", which heightens his unique brand of Afrofuturism with a fantasy journey of characters whose canon revisits human history against his continuing theme of rising to the occasion, growing in one's power, and bettering humanity.
Alex Auguste currently resides in Tampa, Florida, where he is also an entertertainment and media personality and storyteller with his company, MRVL WRLD.
