What can I say about myself hum...... for one I'm a born again Christian so you won't see anything on here that's unacceptable for children to read. I have a firm and confident belief in God and his son Jesus. I live my life by one particular scripture verse that has been the main theme of most of my life and that is: "Do Onto Others as You Would Want Others to Do Onto You".
I also have another theme that has been important to me and it's John F Kennedy's famous saying,"Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country" John Fitzgerald Kennedy 1960-1963,
I served in the Military in what was The Women's Army Corp from 1971-1973. Which means I am a Veteran. I am also a mother of two and have four grandchildren ranging in the ages of 16-9. My 16 yr old granddaughter showed me this and I think as time goes on I will be putting it to good use. Maybe a book could develop out of this or just a series of short stories who knows the options are unlimited. When it's all said and done this may wind up as my legacy to my family. My stories, thoughts, feelings who knows? God Bless all and enjoy!
Recently I learned I am one of thousands of Soldiers who passed through Ft McClellan Ala. only to learn we are now considered Toxic Soldiers which means we were exposed to Chemicals that have more than likely has alteed our DNA some how from drinking the water out of the wells, breathing in the Toxic air and crawling around on the Toxic ground.
We trying to get a bill passed in Congress called :lH.R. 411 Ft. McClellan Health Registry Act of 2014 (1935-1999) Contact your local Government and Congress help us get this bill passed it will help untold numbers of Toxic Veterans. Thank you
