I am a wife, mother of two teenagers,a burned-out nurse, and a published author. I wrote my first story in second grade and have written continuously ever since. Mostly journals, letters (remember letters?), patient charts (no room for creativity), children's stories, and, most recently, a couple of short stories.
The first, called "Sunday Dinner," is about a country musician's deal with the Devil. It was published in a Nashville Writer's Meetup anthology called "Comfort Foods." It's a purely fictitious story, as far as I know.
The second is based on true events from my mother's childhood. Titled "Murder in Schrock Town" it will appear at a later date in an anthology of my own stories. This project is in its early stages so follow me on wattpad for future updates. Ya'll will be the first to know when it is available!
My work on wattpad is titled "M.U.A. Manor." My goal with it is to exorcise these characters from my head who want their story told. I welcome all your comments.
