wow. in California its all english. i did live in mexico when i was five, so my first language is spanish. french seems really hard. (i also got lazy halfway through but, i study languages when i have free time and am bored so i just continued with it.) i cant quite read korean yet. but im almost there.

@Director2009 well i agree that japanese is a little easier than korean since i tried learning it (failed cuz i got lazy) and for french... we learn it at school since kindergarten in morocco, but i was born in U.A.E so i started learning french in 1st grade. i quickly catched up with others at school and its basically the 7th year  learning french for me so its super easy. (we study french from KG to  college/university)

Russian just rolls off the tongue and grandma's are hilarious with a Russian accent. Japanese wasn't that hard, but Korean I'm still not 100 percent fluent yet.
            Arabic is really cool, and the writing is almost impossible for me to read. Was it hard to learn French from Arabic?
