Fyrestriker

| Hello again, I could not resist the temptation of your masked face. |

A cool wind hushed through Cowl's ebony fur, enticing a shiver to curl down his spine. He kept his pawsteps light as he passed into the shadowed cave, each step brought a thicker sense of darkness and bone-deep dread of what he would face. He had heard stories of the Masked Oracle. Of her connection to those of divine blood and knowledge.

Knowledge that he so dearly needed. Knowledge that Fyressin had asked for and pondered over the past few months.

He kept on moving forward in a slow, meticulous stride. Mostly to avoid possible imperfections in the cave floor that could lead to injury. His blood chilled and he licked his jaws, tasting the blood of the child still on his teeth. Cowl didn't regret his actions, not at all, but he acknowledged that what he had done was dishonorable. He realized that the angel would not react to him, and he had released the child before he had permanently harmed her. A good thing perhaps.

Cowl felt a tremor down his bond with Fyressin, his head tilting slightly in thought. She would ask him to come home if he told her, so he remained silent. His silver eye gleamed, while the red eye simply absorbed the light. Each click of his jagged claws rippled into the darkness, and announced his presence to the Oracle.

            [Apologies. A tad bit busy.]

Cowl didn't reply to the young female, only turned and left her to speak with her Gods. His paws carried him back the way he had entered, towards the obstacles he had faced within the dark of the cave.

Silent as death, he slipped into the shadows. An extremely difficult task due to the pale blue light that pulsed through the crystals around him. Still, Cowl managed to conceal himself as he padded through the strange cave system that the Oracle had chosen to occupy. He sniffed at a shroom and wrinkled his nose, fungi was not food fit for a wolf.

It was strange to be engulfed in such a magic. To feel the ebbs and flows of what felt to be life itself, and to breathe in the sweet aroma of it as Cowl walked. His own magic held no scent, depending on his chosen poison, but this... It was an honor to walk amongst the towering crystals and unforgiving stone. To feel the chill seep into his fur and to hear the faint patter of water droplets as they hit the floor.

Cowl wondered what it was like to speak with a god. He had always asked his sister, but she refused to tell him. Some sort of pride or the joy in seeing her younger brother's frustration, Cowl would never know. She always made him jealous of her Gift. Now she had none but the strength and cunning she had been born with.

He paused in the center of a corridor, bathing in the light.

"Yes. Silence will better my concentration." She responded. Although she was able to ignore and block background noise when she concentrated, it would be better immerse herself completely without any possible distractions. Otherwise it would just take a little longer to form a mental connection.

The Oracle then considered his request for a moment before coming to an answer.

"I give you my permission as long as you do not disturb the crystals. They provide a stable source of magic for this cave and for the plant life inside. You may eat some of the moss and fungi if you would like." She explained. The woman saw no harm in his exploration as long as nothing will be damaged. The wolf was free to feed on the moss and mushrooms should he wish. They were like any normal moss and white capped mushrooms. The only difference was that they glow until plucked from the ground and walls.

The Oracle then tilted her head upwards as if she was looking for the sky. "I will now begin."

Closing her eyes under her mask, The Oracle began to create the link between her mind and the voices of deities. The process was difficult, however every time she used her ability it has become easier for her to create the connection. Especially in a fast amount of time.

The Oracle had already begun to hear whispers, meaning conversations were active among the deities. Any noises around her would have been blocked out, along with every other senses. The woman became entirely engulfed in a state of intense concentration.

The Oracle could feel her very soul opening to the sounds of the Gods as their voices became loud and clear. Most of it, she could not understand. A deities' language where more than just words. Sometimes, they were pictures or symbols. Even sounds. Only when she was spoken to directly would she begin to understand.

With no one to direct the question at specifically, she asked Cowl's question into the void of voices.

Cowl simply inclined his head, his posture calm; serene. He had nothing but time, and no place he would rather be. The words that she spoke were ones that the wolf had expected, and understood quite well. His own sister had once been one with the divine, and he had observed her over many years. Syka had lost touch with the gift a month before meeting Fyressin, and had not returned.

"Take all the time you need, Oracle." Cowl stood and stretched, "I presume you need silence?"

If this was true, Cowl would take the time to explore the cave. He didn't wish to intrude on the Oracle's process, or distrupt it with any noise. Cowl needed to be sure that the question was fully contemplated, so that he could return home in complete confidence. He could never disappoint his Alpha. He bowed shallowly, "If you don't mind, I'd like to explore the cave system a bit."

[Greetings. I would be quite happy if we could roleplay at some point soon. Unfortunately I am not so bold as to simply begin before asking first xD]

((I have a wary good feeling about this. A talk with you might be such a fun thing.
Lil Gar would not seek a fight or a godly talk simply a talk with a new friend.

A blackish-lavdner colored rift, human sized, would rip open suddenly. The inside showed nothing but an eternal darkness like area that couldn't possibly be seen, given that it was just darkness. The portal itself however was not of darkness, rather it was mana, constructed in the form of a portal. Stepping through was a humanoid, or what rather had the shape and body structure of a humanoid. The being was indeed female, her tanned skin, almost a reddish/russet color whilst having red claw and strand shaped tribal painted markings along the left side of her face. Her right hand having a fingerless spandex like textured glove. Her entire right arm including the hand is completely cybernetic, having red colored thead like material interweaved with the non-metallic, non-corrosive, and non-magnetic substance known as Crystal Black, obviously an never before heard of material. From the arm up it is grayish-silver, but downwards it gets to be more obsidian colored. Her legs were covered in the same material although having a bit of green and black mixed in, but having patches of the obsidian colored armor upon the armored legs and shoes that she wears, giving her good endurance and stamina, as well as traction when running. A silver colored line is mixed in with the varying black and green colors. With this, she can reach speeds of up to 90mph and her strength is equal to about 1 ton(2,000lbs.)

The oracle gave a nod to Kira's promise and watched as the traveler opened the rift. It was nothing like she has ever seen before. It was truly memorizing. The cave shook slightly after she left, but the oracle did not find any danger in it and remained in her spot on the pedestal. Who knows how long would the oracle receive another visitor, or if she would ever see the same visitor again. The oracle reached up to touch the smooth surface of her ceramic mask and adjust it to keep it firmly in place. Replaying the final words of her last visitor in her head, she could not help but smile a little. Visitors that were stranger than the last were what made the oracle's duty much more interesting. Turning, the oracle stepped down from the pedestal and walked over to the back wall. There she activated a stone that opened her living quarters, where she would rest and wait for her next visitor.

In awe of the dazzling display of light and the actions by the gods. Kira would take the amulet and place it back around her neck. An audible whispering like sound filled the entire amulet as the souls were conversing and if possible made several noises to note their existence within the amulet. Kira would then grab her manaplates and place them within the component on her cybernetic arm. "I thank you for the help, if you shall need my assistance, I am a message away." Kira would state to the oracle. She also would keep her promise to not just the oracle, but also the deities to which she hoped they would entrust her with keeping that promise. Her manaplates were fully charged and so was the amulet. She would hold out her hand, opening a rift using her mana, she would nod a goodbye to the oracle as well as the cave itself. Admiring it a bit more, before the rift would close and a slightly small burst of air would shake the cave a bit, but not so much as to hut or damage anything. Where Kira went, no one knows but herself.

Once the heat dissipated the oracle felt significantly better. Though she questioned the origin and the extinction of the sudden heat wave. The smell of the cave minerals still lingered. She could always ask the stranger however, she felt it was not in her place to ask question, only to answer them along with any requests. After Kira had placed the items, a cave crystal would begin to glow. The crystals were a way the higher beings would make a connection to the mortal realm. They were a sort of a dowsing rod but instead of locating needed resources, it would be used to provide said items. The glow of the crystals were a clear white light which soon shot a heatless ray at the amulet and manaplates. With the power of the God and the deity, the items were infused with the power of the number of souls that were requested.

The oracle watched as the ray infused the souls, wondering what the stranger would use them for. It was an odd request to being with. Normally the oracle was asked about future events or clarification on visions a person may have. This stranger wanted nothing more than a few souls to power up her equipment. The world outside the cave was certainly strange. It made her glad that she chose to reside in her cave where the world only extended to the mouth of the cave and to her room.

The crystal would stop glowing to signified the completion of its task.
