things were chaotic at the palace and in many areas of the capital. ever since first incident with death watch attacking sundari and the battle on the moon of concordia, the nearby systems under the rule of the duchess had been on high alert. there was tighter security and many of the royal guards were posted throughout the capital, some to protect the people and others at the palace protecting the duchess. satine paced back and forth in the throne room, thoughts running through her mind. the capital recently had an attack by a large group of death watch soldiers, many of her people were killed, and others gave their lives to protect her. ever since she had left obi-wan after they were trying to prove her innocence in a case death watch had fabricated. so that the senate would believe that the republic needed to intervene in their peaceful ways and so that they could gain control of the systems. she had been weary since that time. after all, he had known her since he was a padawan and had come back to investigate on behalf of the jedi council…and had discovered the death watch base on concordia…communication between him and her had been quiet. if he were with her in the moment, he would know what to do in the predicament that she was in.
