Update:
The "Auto da Barca do Inferno" is actually 1 out of 3 "Autos" that this guy named Gil Vicente wrote, but the one that's currently posted is the only one studied in 9th grade in schools
The other 2 don't have that deep research to teach the kids but they still exist
I'll be writing about them soon, but they're even more prone to my interpretations, and will have even MORE headcanons (because I'm not very good at studying books on my own ;-;)
BTW they're called "Auto da Barca do Purgatório" and "Auto da Barca da Glória" (they mean "something something Purgatory" and "something something Heaven")
