Thanks! Yeah, it’s a Photoshop mix of my art (the lion head), a public domain photo of Mars from NASA, and a public domain Union Jack that I sort of distressed in Photoshop. I’m thrilled you like it!

@Elss84 I believe you have an important story to tell, and the right readers will appreciate it. I know I do. As for my drawings, there are two in my "They Would Be Gods Story" ... one pretty early in the story. "Plate Number One: Little Ara."
@Elss84 wow Jack of All trades. After reading your work I'd love to see what you draw. So thats why you can write so descriptively, you can actually draw your characters. Adult life is sucks the joy out of writing. What do you do for a living? I managed to hit the word count today so its just editing etc. Ive been in contact with 3 trafficking survivors for research and their stories are unbelievable. Im not sure how readers will react to this at all. What do you think?

Okay, friends and followers. Some of you may have checked out the first draft of "La Bruja Returns." Tonight, I've posted a more polished version (miles to go, of course!) of my initial entry to the Open Novella Contest 2019. I'm at about 5,700 words so far. Not NaNoWriMo worthy, but I'll take it :D
Anyhow, "La Bruja Returns" is a Western-inspired, post-apocalyptic dark fantasy! It's a world-turned-upside-down sort of tale. I've added a new first chapter, revised the second chapter (the old first), and tacked on the third chapter for good measure.
I'd appreciate your feedback and support on this adventure. So if you have a moment...you know what to do!

Just a quick note to my few followers. I've been swamped with real life these days and have fallen a little behind in my reading and writing. And then, right when I was working my way through another great chapter of @DomiSotto excellent "Crimson Qi," the power went out! Twice! Yay. Snow. Sorry, Domi! Anyhow, if you haven't taken a peek at "Crimson Qi," I highly recommend it. And no worries, I'll be back!
